The Center for Hellenic Studies Internship Program offers Harvard students the opportunity to spend the summer living and working in Greece. One of Harvard's most competitive and innovative summer programs, it combines daily academic and professional work with extended home-stays, weekend excursions, and cultural activities, creating a uniquely immersive experience for participants. The range of experiences available to a CHS intern is vast and include among other working with the curators of the National Museum of Contemporary Art , researching at GAIA centre of the Goulandris Natural History Museum, the Hellenic Center for European Studies and the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy. Over the last 3 years FORESIGHT has offered a constructive and challenging professional experience to 5 Harvard students who demonstrated their talents and insight on various projects from the company’s portfolio. |

Alexandros Costopoulos has been appointed official country representative in Greece of the American Citizens Abroad (ACA), a non-profit, non-partisan, non-governmental association of volunteers whose mission is to unite and support Americans living overseas. ACA was founded in 1978 and through its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland and its offices in Washington DC, has achieved a worldwide membership and a widespread network of country contacts. ACA is one of the few organizations that focuses on “American citizens in Greece”, thus reflecting an aspect of the historical and powerful relationship that exists between the two countries, which has been almost neglected throughout the years. |
