While constructing a launch pad for development through a multi-layered program that blends public relations, grass rooting and public diplomacy, the initiative also creates a forum for ideas and strategies, thereby generating synergies between critically thinking individuals and dynamic institutions.

Alec Mally joins FORESIGHT

Having served in critical spots throughout his career at the U.S. State Department, Alec Mally joined FORESIGHT as Director for Global Economic Affairs. With his U.N., southeast European and Washington experience, Mr. Mally will enhance the ability of our team to maneuvre through complex geopolitical and international financial issues.
 
Prior to moving back to Greece, he was a career Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. State department for 27 years, with a range of assignments in Greek and Balkan affairs. He served as Consul General in Thessaloniki and Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Office in Pristina, Kosovo. Stateside, he served as Economic Counselor at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations and also as the State Department’s Senior Desk Officer for Greece.  Previously, he worked in the Political and then the Economic Sections of the U.S. Embassy in Athens from 1995-99. Mr. Mally had earlier assignments in Romania, Poland and the Philippines, focusing primarily on economic affairs.
 
Mr. Mally is a principal at the Institute for Regional Dialogue and Strategy (IPEDIS), Vice-chair of Democrats Abroad Greece and a board member of a Greek NGO overseeing de-mining work in the Balkans.

Having as principal mission to capitalize upon the unique 15 years contribution of OPEN HUG to the development of actual, measurable and high-impact projects for the benefit of children who suffer and their families, our efforts concentrated upon the solidification of the existing agenda of the organizations and the exploration of new projects and synergies that could boost even further the impact of our client.
 
In a period of rising challenges in the broader environment of social responsibility with constant public scrutiny and diminishing sponsorship budgets, FORESIGHT offered insight and new techniques on how to build mutually beneficial relations with sponsors and the media.

The Center for Hellenic Studies Internship Program offers Harvard students the opportunity to spend the summer living and working in Greece. One of Harvard's most competitive and innovative summer programs, it combines daily academic and professional work with extended home-stays, weekend excursions, and cultural activities, creating a uniquely immersive experience for participants.

 The range of experiences available to a CHS intern is vast and include among other working with the curators of the National Museum of Contemporary Art , researching at GAIA centre of the Goulandris Natural History Museum, the Hellenic Center for European Studies and the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy.

 Over the last 3 years FORESIGHT has offered a constructive and challenging professional experience to 5 Harvard students who demonstrated their talents and insight on various projects from the company’s portfolio.

For the second year leading institutions and organizations come together with the Ministries of Health and Education to promote the importnace of skinhealth. 
 
 
 
This year Skinhealth campaign travels to to 58 schools in nothern Greece to educate and inform on the importnace of our skin. At the same time large information and skin check centers in the centers of Athens and Thessaloniki offer to all people a chance to discover their skin and discuss with doctors.

In our effort to maximize the appeal to consumers and to reposition in a unique way tour client to the relevant market, we designed a multi-street-happening event at one of the most prestigeous streets of Athens that included among other an photographic exhibition of Yannis Bournias, video art from LED walls that had been spread around the street, a VIP cocktail party for media and lifestyle guests and a live concert.
 
 
 
The event also included presentations from esteem brands like Montegrappa, Land Rover and Logitech in an attempt to generate a broader interest.

American Citizens Abroad (ACA) in Greece
American Citizens Abroad (ACA) in Greece

Alexandros Costopoulos has been appointed official country representative in Greece of the American Citizens Abroad (ACA), a non-profit, non-partisan, non-governmental association of volunteers whose mission is to unite and support Americans living overseas.

 ACA was founded in 1978 and through its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland and its offices in Washington DC, has achieved a worldwide membership and a widespread network of country contacts.

 ACA is one of the few organizations that focuses on “American citizens in Greece”, thus reflecting an aspect of the historical and powerful relationship that exists between the two countries, which has been almost neglected throughout the years.
 
In an environment  of emerging issues and challenges ACA can truly assist the American citizens abroad and develop a role that is absent in the Greek environment ; a role which will grow beyond today’s needs and will elevate citizens services and dialogue to a new level.

This innovative program was set inder the auspice of the Ministry of Health and included among other a national road-show at schools, information and skin check centers in major cities, a national opinion poll and the development of skinhealth web portal.
